“Identity” We are all different, yet we are all the same. We follow different religions, have different coloured skin, come in all shapes and sizes, yet we are all the same. We all love different things, some love sport, some love to read, some love food, yet we are all the same. We have men who love women, women who love other women, men who love men, yet we are all the same. We are all very complex beings, yet so simple at the same time. We all strive to be different, yet we follow each other. We are a complex mix of blood and bones.
The only true thing that makes us visibly unique from one another is our finger print. It defines us by person, but not by who we are. It can be used to track us, sign us into bank accounts and mobile phones, it can send us to prison for life, and it can also prove our innocence.
That, that identifies us, does not and should not define who we are. We don’t judge another person by their finger print, we should not define and judge someone for who they love, who they worship, what they look like or their financial status.
“Identity” is scratching the surface of who I am. It is one small minute part of who I am, try to get to know the other 99% of me, before you judge me.
“Identity” is a Limited Edition print available on 300gsm ArtRag paper or 405gsm poly/cotton water resistant Matte Canvas. Prices are for prints only, framing is an additional cost.
